I love this cushion! I have sciatica pain and have had 4 surgeries on my left hip. I have difficulty sitting with both these issues but when I received this cushion, I sat on it right away and the pain was gone the whole time I was on it. I was comfortable and had no pressure on my hip or back. I just ordered another cushion and a back yesterday.

This is an excellent cushion to keep upper thighs from going to sleep during long sitting time. It's comfortable and offers good support, especially with the back cushion that helps good posture. The nonskid underside keeps the cushion in place quite nicely. This is a good purchase!

Excellent seat cushion. Weight is distributed evenly and no back stiffness when I get up. I have degenerative disk disease and this cushion is very comfortable. I am in a motorized wheelchair and I have to share the seat with a portable oxygen tank. Because of that I cannot place the cushion where it should be. I have to turn it a little and I have to sit a little to one side. In spite of that the cushion has helped a lot, although it is not as comfortable as it could be.
Don’t know if this could be changed for others like me or not, but thought you should know.

I've very happy with the seat cushion as it offers comfort and great support. I am able to use it on a number of different seats in my home: dining room chair, easy chair and office chair. The product holds it's shape and continues to offer needed support. Now, I can sit at my computer for longer periods of time and avoid lower back pain and even knee pain because I am positioned properly. Just keep in mind that it does raise your seat level a bit. For me, that was exactly what I needed at my dining room table.

For 6 months, I dealt with the worse pain of my life from a herniated disc. For me, sitting was the BIGGEST trigger for pain. Until you cannot sit, you don't realize how much you miss it! Watching TV, working on my computer, sitting with a friend -- it was all impossible. While many tools helped me cope (steroid shots, aleve, lidocaine patches, ice), this cushion allowed me to sit. Sometimes I'd still have the pain or could only tolerate it for 30 mins, but it was a HUGE improvement. Today, I continue using this while sitting at work to hopefully prevent any further spine issues. On top of the therapeutic piece, it is comfy! At first, the price seemed steep but I feel it was WELL worth it.

I'm disabled and have mobility issues and I do a *lot* of sitting, whether I want to or not. This cushion would be absolute perfection if it was about 2-3 inches longer. I thought the problem was that the muscles in my thighs had atrophied to nothing, giving me no natural cushion at all, and that it was a 'me' problem, but my very abled sister sat on it, and the first thing she said was, 'Why isn't it longer? The front edge bites into the backs of my thighs.'
It's not a major issue. I've started using a small foot rest to elevate my knees and prevent the high front edge of the cushion from cutting off circulation. It's definitely not a big enough deal that I want to return it. The rest of my lower half is very happy with it. My hips are supported without compressing my spine and hurting my back, and I bought it for hip and back relief, and it delivers there. Standing up after long periods is easier and less painful for me. My bony butt doesn't feel bruised from prolonged sitting. It does what I bought it to do. The foam is awesome and comfy. It's just *almost* perfect. Would be perfect if it was just about 3 inches longer in the front.

I love this cushion. First time i have sat on my lounge for a year without pain from my tailbone. It's f~~king amazing. I already have a range of seat cushions from the chemist - Supercheap & Kmart that I have tried. I have been so stressed as to how I was going to manage my life with this intense pain without taking painkillers after seeking medical advice. Apparently I have slight degeneration on the tip of my tailbone, sorry nothing they can do other than take anti inflammatories which affect your stomach. I'm not old & size 12 -14 in Au sizing. I have also been hunting for alternative chairs and lounges. I give it 10 out of 5.

This is not my first seat cushion, but it's by far my favorite! To start, the groves for your thighs are really comfortable and they prevent my legs from going to sleep. It's made with a denser type of memory foam that doesn't flatten like my other cushions do, which is really crucial if you plan to spend any extended period of time sitting. My favorite, however, is the split design and that wraps around the hip, I find that the it really helps distribute my weight and prevent lower back tightness. All in all, I definitely recommend picking this up!

I have no existing physical issues that drove me to get one of these. My SUV is twelve years old, and I still love it, and keeps going and going, except for the front seats. The great leather on the seats is fine except for the driver and passenger seat bottoms. I don't want seat covers, I just want cushions to make the seats last. As I studied the different chair cushions available, I went with this one, after reading the reviews.
At first I thought I ended up with a booster seat! I was sitting way too high, and I didn't think I would like it. But I found it was backwards! lol
Once you get it right, the gap part in the back, and bring the front edge of the seat so that it's right behind your bent knees, IT IS AWESOME!! Your butt sinks to where you are at a normal height, that's great! I felt like my butt and my thighs are hovering above the seat because there is no more hard surface under your body. The tailbone is suspended in air, and put all of that together, driving is really comfortable now. I just flew across the country, and the airline seats are really hard, and I kept regretting that I didn't bring the cushion!
Nobody bought this for me, I bought it, and I just got another one for my desk chair here at home. If my car's seats hadn't worn out, I may never known about this cushion. But I'm glad they did! This little guy is wonderful!

On a long and uncomfortable flight to Hawaii I managed to mess my back and tail bone really bad. I even paid to have a professional massage done because seating was impossibly painful and I work either driving around all day or in my home office. Nothing seemed to help. I considered getting one of those doughnuts cushions for people with “hemorrhoid problems” but was too embarrassed to go to Walgreens looking for one. That’s how I ended up here, looking for some relief. This stuff is magical, like seating on the back of a unicorn while coming down a rainbow. I sat down on it and all the pressure points were not giving me any issues, was able to drive out of state the next day NO PROBLEM. Outstanding quality, doesn’t just squish down when you sit on it. The one issue is, you’ll be pretty high up if you plan on using it in the car, but not a deal breaker compared to my coccyx not killing me and having shooting pain up my lag and back. BUY IT! The cover is also removable and washable.

Immediate relief. My lower back and tailbone have been hurting lately for a month. I'm not sure if it is my bed (which is about a year old), my work which requires me to lift heavy items (which will not be an issue as I'm leaving soon), my 26lb terrier who pulls like a horse when we go on walks, or the fact that I drive a Mustang (sports seating). Since I have gotten this item, I use it for the car, and my desk at home. I have noticed a significant difference! My pain has lessened (with some ibuprofen to help as well). I will probably order another one so I don't have to keep moving this one from the car to the computer desk. THANK YOU!

I had high hopes but low expectations - this has exceeded my expectations. The cushion is very comfortable, however my specific needs requires me to look for chairs with back support as well or use a lumbar pillow because I naturally sit a bit leaned forward and find most chairs to be too reclined. The patio area of where I work doesn't really have a back rest on the bench. This is not a fault of the product, as it is not meant to include a back/lumbar support function. The construction seems pretty solid; no tears or broken/missing stitching, the zipper works fine, the foam inside seems clean and has no smell. I am currently on five days using this cushion and so far it has been a dream, I love it.

This is a lifesaver...literally! I had started to develop a pressure ulcer on my coccyx which resulted from sitting too long on my new couch (I have a disability which makes it which makes it so I have mobility issues). Having the breakdown on my coccyx could result in a severe infection...maybe even death (I know this because I was a nurse. I saw people deteriorate from a sore like this. I mean, that area isn't the best place on your body...it can get a little bit messy back there...yuck, I know ). After using this comfort seat cushion for almost a month it has completely healed. The cut out area completely takes all of the pressure away from the area in question. The underside of this cushion has little silicone dots which make it so that it won't slide/slip (similar to what's on the bottom of some slippers).
In the past I purchased another coccyx cushion. It was made out of the "blue gel", which made it REALLY REALLY hard. It was super uncomfortable. This cushion has a little more "give", although not a whole lot. It's quite comfortable and I can sit on it all day. Again, taking the pressure of of that area was quickly healed.

I have another flight to catch soon from Chicago to Hawaii and this time, I swore I'd find something to ease the pain from too little padding from Mother Nature and too little padding on the airline seats. I took my time reading the reviews and decided on the Beyond Cushion Pressure Relief Memory Foam cushion. I didn't want to wait until the long flights to test it out, so I tried it in my apartment amenitys bed. I had already used a foam pad here before and when I replaced it with this cushion, I was surprised by a few things: 1) It raised me up a few inches an 2) the contour was extra comfortable. I read a question about getting through airport security with the cushion, so I called my airline (United) to inquire. The agent asked me if it was a medical necessity for me. I told her, "yes". She advised, "Then, just tell the airport security that the cushion is a medical necessity for you and you'll be just fine." The trip is still six weeks away, so I'll see about getting through security. Till then, I plan on keeping the cushion in my car and returning the cushion to the car when I return from my trip.. Update: So glad I had the pad for those long flights and made it through with zero tush or leg pain! I won't take another flight without this!

Just thought to write a brief review of my experience so far with this cushion. Well, I've had it for about 2 months now and I can't say enough great things about it. It's a BUTT-SAVER!! I've been suffering from recurring pain in my tailbone area for some time now - about a year - it comes and goes but when it comes it's very painful and makes sitting down and getting up very difficult for me -- even on the sofa or a cushioned chair. After looking around and doing a little research I decided to try this one out and I'm so happy and grateful that I did. It makes sitting down for prolonged amounts of time (I use it mainly on the couch watching TV & by the computer) so much easier on my tailbone as well as back and butt. It may have came with a little chemical smell (as some have said on here that that is normal for memory foam material) but after a week it went away and all's good in that area. The quality of this product is 100% and the Customer Service is outstanding as well. Very caring and responsive. I just hope it's durable and lasts for years to come but for the price I'd gladly get another one without question. One last thing I thought to mention in response to other poor raters/reviewers on here -- people have said it went flat or 'pancaked' on them -- unless they were very obese I don't see this happening. I'm 5'7" and weigh 180lbs and have not had any issues pertaining to this problem.
Overall, I rate is a perfect 5 stars for being an outstanding product that is well-made and so, so very helpful with my pain problems. Highly recommend those suffering try it out yourself.

I ordered this for tailbone/SI joint pain. The product itself i think is fine. It did force me to sit more upright, which made me feel like i also needed a lumbar pillow, so that's something to keep in mind for office chairs. This is my body's fault not the cushion lol. The cushion is standard to large size. I appreciated the relief on my tailbone but I think my body isn't meant for this so I returned and I am going to look for a wider, flatter cushion that will still ease my pain while being large enough for my booty. hope this helps!

I have only had this product for 1 1/2 weeks but it is the best pad that I have found. I bought it to use on my Golden Companion scooter. The seat on my scooter was okay for short usage but for extended time it was not that comfortable (very hard). I have RA so it is difficult for me to get comfortable but the everlasting comfort is great. I received this the day before I took a 6 night cruise. As I cannot walk very far I have to rely on my scooter to get around. The first day I thought that I had made a mistake. The second day I realized that I was not sitting properly on the pad. Once I got it adjusted it made a big difference. It made my trip fun and I was able to ignore any discomfort that I might have had. It is very important that you have the cutout placed where your tailbone is located. Otherwise there is too much pressure on that area and the pain can spread. The company that I bought this from through Amazon has contacted me twice to make sure I received it on time and that I was satisfied with it -- I am. I do recommend this for heavier people also. It will comfortably support someone 300 lbs, which is unusual...most of them flatten out after a short time. I highly recommend this item.

It's ok. It worked better than the old school foam stuff. But I was always sitting lopsided by the end of the day, it's hard to describe why it didn't work as well as I would have liked but the uneven surface felt good at first but over the course of the day got tiring for me. It bothered me a little after a while.

This is a replacement cushion, as I messed up the one I keep in my car. I just put them everywhere so I don't have to carry one around. I love this cushion. It really helps my sciatic pain. Anytime I go anywhere if I don't have my seat, I really regret not bringing it.

I received my Beyond Cushion sealed tightly in plastic. The cushion was spotless. I found the rubberized dots on the reverse side stay in place on my vehicles seat when I enter and sit inside my vehicle. The memory foam gives the support for my lower body and keeps me from shifting positions on long drives. I have used a similar cushion from another manufacturer and I have to say the material covering this memory foam cushion is superior. I will continue to purchase this product and will recommend it to all my friends and relatives.

It works well, I am about 150 lbs, and had it for about 30 days. Has not compressed, still holds its shape and support. I had another brand for about 3 years, and it was not the quality of Everlasting. The only problem I have is holding it in place. I use it under a car seat cover, and it slides when I get out of the seat. I didn't know if there was something to hold in place. Other than that the comfort and support is incredible. It is definitely 5 stars.

I bought this cushion because the chair I have at work isn't comfortable. Comes folded in half, inside a clear plastic bag. Once you unfold it, it doesn't take long for the 'fold' to come out. No product box (except for the shipping). Soft touch black fabric cover feels nice to the tough and it's surprisingly heavy. Weight and texture very similar to a memory foam pillow on your bed.

I have a sensitive tail bone due to a past injury and find sitting for longer periods of time to be uncomfortable, especially on long car/plane rides so was looking for a product I could take with me on planes and automobiles. I really like this product and find it very comfortable to sit on. I am looking forward to taking it on a long plane ride to see if it helps on overnight flights and on those uncomfortable plane economy plane seats.
